    Luke McGibney - Basil - Interactive Theatre International

    Luke McGibney trained at the Oxford School Drama and funded his acting education by being a Sasha Baron Cohens double (Ali G, Borat, Dictator). After a sabbatical Luke has recently returned to acting full time and starred in The Intent the makers of Kidulthood to be released at the end of year. In 2013 Luke won 11 festival awards for his portrayal of Richard III including Filming Shakespeare patroned by Sir Kenneth Branagh in 2013.

    Alongside acting Luke enjoys writing and performing comedy and will be playing the lead in black comedy film Swing Vote shooting in 2015.

    Luke McGibney trained at the Oxford School Drama and return to full time professional acting in 2012 after a sabbatical.

    Recently Luke played antagonist Domas in Yoke Farm that won Unchosen Film Festival selected by Ken Loach (Kes) and Justin Chadwick (Mandela) alongside this he has been in British Thriller The Intenet playing Seargent Williams makers of Kidulthood that will be released at the end of the year.

    In 2013 Luke won 11 festival awards for his portrayal of Richard III including Filming Shakespeare patroned by Sir Kenneth Branagh and has played Darcy in Pride and Prejudice web series.

    Luke joins Interactive Theatre International to play Basil in'Faulty Towers the Dining Experience'.
